HR Officer at 31st Air Base Battalion

We are growing and strengthening our team with an HR officer. As an HR officer at the 31st Air Base Battalion, you will work at the largest unit of the Helicopter Wing and play an important role in Sweden's defense. As an HR officer, you will work in the battalion staff and have close collaboration with the battalion leadership as well as the HR department of the Helicopter Wing.

31st Air Base Battalion

The 31st Air Base Battalion consists of four companies and a battalion command with an associated battalion staff. The four companies consist of a Staff/Logistics Company, Protection Airfield Company, Air Base Security Company, and Basic Training Company. The main task of the battalion is the operation of the Malmen air base, operation of a mobile air base, and basic training of conscripts.

Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are to support the battalion in all HR and personnel processes. You are part of a team that together handles the battalion's personnel matters and is the direct support to the unit's leaders. The position means that you will work broadly and be involved in several areas, which provides great opportunities to deepen and broaden your knowledge in various fields.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Supporting leaders in handling matters within the entire HR process; attraction, recruitment, development, and termination.
• Designing and developing processes and routines within your own function.
• Supporting the unit's leaders and employees with personnel administration.
• Representing the unit in your own function towards external collaboration platforms, which may involve business trips.

As an HR officer, you will also participate in the battalion's exercise series. During exercises, your tasks include planning work, exercise mobilization, and follow-up on the personnel situation in the battalion.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Swedish citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in HR
• Experience in recruitment within the public sector
• Experience in HR work in the Armed Forces
• Very proficient user of the Office suite
• Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing.
• Driving license B

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, unpretentious, and has a good ability to organize and prioritize their own work. You should have good collaboration skills, be meticulous, and service-oriented as the work largely consists of supporting leaders. Enjoying varied tasks and sometimes a high pace is a prerequisite for you to thrive with us.

PREFERABLE

• Experience with the Armed Forces' operational management system SAP/PRIO
• Experience in independent work
• Experience working in a security-classified position
• Completed GSU/GMU/combat training
